COVID-19 CLINIC POLICIES:

We have reopened the clinic on an appointment-only basis.

​

We are implementing strict safety protocols for protection against COVID-19, including:

 

• Vaccination of entire staff

• Screening patients prior to appointments

• Requiring that patients wear face masks (that are non-valve masks) inside the clinic and during treatment

• Each patient has his/her own private room with a door/window that is thoroughly ventilated between appointments

• Disposable cradle covers and new pillow covers for every patient 

• Intensive disinfection of all contact surfaces using EPA recommended disinfectants for COVID-19

• Use of PPE by all practitioners and staff

Prior to your appointment, please read the following:

​

• Please make sure you are able to answer no these questions before coming:

  • In the past 14 days have you traveled domestically or internationally without being vaccinated?

  • Have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19? 

  • Do you have any of these symptoms of cold or flu, including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, chest pain, sore throat, new rashes on your toes, or loss of taste or smell?

• If you answer yes to any of the above questions, please notify us and stay home instead for 14 days or present a negative COVID test result.  

• We will not be treating any colds or flus with acupuncture, but patients may schedule an herbal consultation over the phone and pick up herbs. 

• Please try to arrive just on time for your appointment so that you won’t have to wait.

• Please come to your appointment alone with exceptions of: (1) you are under 18 years old, (2) you require assistance of one other individual at the appointment due to your medical conditions.

• The cancellation fees are waived for illness during this time.

• Please wear a face mask without any openings/valves to and during your appointment.

If you are elderly or immune-compromised, we recommend staying home in general for your own safety. Additionally, if you are feeling sick regardless of symptoms, please do not come for an appointment. Please stay home and rest for the recommended 14 days of self-quarantine.
